Today our Cubs headed to the Apple Store at the Metrocentre for an exciting and creative workshop, where they had the chance to explore music-making using technology.

Led by Dave and Mel, the Cubs used iPad Pros and the GarageBand app to create their own short theme tunes. They learned how music can be built by layering different instruments and sounds together, experimenting with beats, rhythms and melodies to produce their own unique tracks.

It was fantastic to see the Cubs trying something new, working creatively, and discovering how digital tools can be used to make music. Activities like this are a great way for young people to build confidence with technology while developing their creativity.

The session also links in perfectly with the Cubs Digital Maker Badge, which encourages young people to explore digital skills, try creative technology, and learn how to make their own digital projects.

A big thank you to Dave and Mel for running such an engaging workshop and helping our Cubs discover their inner musicians!
