Our Cubs had an action-packed weekend at Moor House Adventure Centre as we joined Cubs from across Durham for a very special Birthday Cubboree, celebrating 110 years of Cub Scouting!
Taking place from 3rd–5th July 2026, the three-day camp was packed with activities, adventures and plenty of birthday celebrations.
Our Cubs threw themselves into everything the weekend had to offer, with activities including mountain biking, archery, zip lining, rifle shooting, climbing, Jacob’s Ladder, the Leap of Faith, bungee trampolines, inflatables, crate stacking, tree climbing and much more.
There were also opportunities to try fire lighting, bushcraft and crafts, as well as explore the cave bus and take on plenty of other challenges throughout the weekend.
And, as it was a birthday celebration, there had to be a party! The outdoor stage brought everyone together for some fantastic celebrations, with Cubs and volunteers from across the County joining in.
It was a brilliant weekend and a fantastic opportunity for our Cubs to have new adventures, challenge themselves, make memories and celebrate 110 years of Cub Scouting alongside hundreds of other young people.
A huge thank you to Durham Scouts and all of the volunteers who gave their time to make Cubboree such a memorable weekend.
